Trucking Dispatch Agent

Pay: Rs40,000.00 – Rs45,000.00 per month

**Job Description**

Coordinating and scheduling freight transportation by acting as a liaison between drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Assign drivers to loads, plan efficient routes, and schedule pickups and deliveries for multiple trucks.

Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, customers, and brokers.

* Relay information on freight details, delivery times, and any issues that arise.

* Use GPS and dispatch software to track driver progress, monitor traffic, and provide real-time updates to customers on delivery status.

* Address and resolve any problems that occur during transit, such as delays, breakdowns, or unexpected route changes.

* Keep accurate records of all dispatches, driver logs, shipment details, and compliance with regulations.

* Use load boards and networks to find and book freight, sometimes negotiating rates with brokers on behalf of the carrier.

**Required skills and qualifications**

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Fluent in English speaking and writing

* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

* Familiarity with dispatch and GPS tracking.

* Knowledge of the trucking industry, including regulations and common practices.

A minimum a bachelor degree or diploma is typically required, though further education can be beneficial.
