Horyzon Zero Services is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to facilitate seamless logistics and shipping operations. This role involves coordinating customer shipments with third-party truck drivers through various USA-based platforms, ensuring timely and efficient delivery services.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with third-party drivers to arrange timely shipments and deliveries for US-based customers.
Utilize various logistics and trucking platforms to manage dispatches and track driver locations.
Monitor and communicate shipment status, addressing any delays or disruptions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver details, and delivery schedules.
Act as a liaison between customers and drivers, resolving issues and ensuring service quality.
Identify and escalate any logistics challenges to management, proposing solutions where appropriate.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in dispatching or logistics coordination, particularly within US logistics, is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics software, dispatch platforms, and tracking systems used in the US.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistical issues and think critically under time constraints.
Availability: Must be willing to work night shifts, as per US time zones, with flexibility to handle urgent requests as needed.
