Transport & Logistics Officer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 – Rs60,000.00 per month

Job Summary:

The Transport & Logistics Officer supports the daily operations of the transport and logistics department by coordinating fleet activities, monitoring compliance, assisting in route planning, and ensuring timely maintenance of vehicles. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations Support

  • Assist in managing vehicle allocation and usage.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and report discrepancies.
  • Support vehicle inspections and maintenance scheduling.

Compliance Monitoring

  • Ensure drivers adhere to transport regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain records for audits and inspections.
  • Report any compliance issues to the Team Lead.

Route Planning Assistance

  • Support route optimization for timely deliveries.
  • Use GPS and planning tools to assist in route adjustments.
  • Coordinate with drivers for route updates.

Driver Coordination

  • Maintain daily driver schedules and assignments.
  • Track attendance and report absences.
  • Assist in managing driver’s queries and concerns.

Training and Development Support

  • Assist in organizing training sessions for drivers and helpers.
  • Maintain training attendance and certification records.
  • Support onboarding of new transport staff.

Vehicle Service Schedule Maintenance

  • Update and monitor vehicle service calendars.
  • Ensure timely service and documentation.
  • Coordinate with service providers for appointments.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare daily and weekly transport reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage.
  • Support month-end reporting processes.
