Tanker Driver

Location: Bahawalpur Terminal
Monthly Salary: Rs 60,000

Job Summary:

The Tanker Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of liquid or fuel cargo (such as petroleum, chemicals, or water) from the Bahawalpur terminal to distribution points across Punjab or other regions. The role demands strict adherence to safety protocols due to the hazardous nature of the cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate fuel or liquid tankers safely over short and long distances
• Ensure correct filling, sealing, and delivery of tanker contents
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections before and after trips, including brakes, tank seals, and valves
• Follow all safety and hazardous material transport regulations
• Complete logbooks and delivery documentation accurately
• Monitor and report fuel levels, leakage risks, or mechanical issues
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or delays
• Ensure proper PPE use and emergency procedures in case of incidents

Requirements:

• Valid HTV license with tanker endorsement
• Minimum 3 years of experience driving tankers (especially fuel or liquid cargo)
• Knowledge of Bahawalpur road networks and intercity highways
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard handling
• Physically fit and alert, with good reflexes and attention to detail
• Must be responsible, punctual, and safety-oriented
