Junior Fleet Dispatcher

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 – Rs60,000.00 per month

About the Role

The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing day-to-day truck movement across Pakistan, coordinating with drivers, customers, workshops, and internal teams.

This role ensures efficient trip execution, timely deliveries, safety compliance, and real-time monitoring of all assigned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trip Planning & Allocation

  • Assign trucks/trailers to loads based on availability, route, and vehicle type.
  • Plan Karachi–Lahore, Lahore–Islamabad, Karachi–Quetta, and other national routes.
  • Ensure load documents (Bilti, POD, Gatepasses) are provided to drivers before departure.
  • Cross-check trip feasibility (driver availability, vehicle condition, route restrictions).

2. Driver Coordination & Monitoring

  • Maintain real-time communication with drivers throughout the journey.
  • Ensure drivers follow assigned routes, speed limits, and rest rules.
  • Manage HSEC compliance (Helmet, Safety Vest, speed regulations).
  • Handle driver issues: breakdowns, delays, police checks, weight station issues.

3. Control Room Tracking (SCADA / GPS Systems)

  • Monitor live GPS tracking for all assigned vehicles.
  • Respond to alerts: route deviation, long stop, over-speeding, fuel drain, asset vibration.
  • Escalate security issues or “high-risk route” situations.
  • Ensure 24/7 tracking visibility for customers and operations team.

4. Customer Coordination

  • Share timely ETA updates with shippers/clients.
  • Inform clients of delays, breakdowns, diversions, or incidents.
  • Maintain professional communication through calls/WhatsApp/email.
  • Provide POD updates after delivery.

5. Document & Trip Closure Management

  • Collect PODs, delivery receipts, and gate-out slips.
  • Update system with trip status (Loaded, In-Transit, Delivered, Empty).
  • Coordinate with billing team for invoice preparation.
  • Maintain trip sheets, mileage logs, fuel slips, toll receipts.

6. Issue Management & Escalation

  • Provide immediate response to:
  • Accidents
  • Vehicle breakdown
  • Driver replacement
  • Route blockages
  • Security incidents
  • Coordinate with workshop, security team, and management for quick resolution.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

  • Experience in logistics, dispatching, RMC operations, or fleet management.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking systems
  • Ability to use SCADA dashboards, Excel, WhatsApp Business, and ERP/TMS systems.
  • Understanding of Pakistan’s national highways, GT Road, M2, N5, and provincial routes.

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple trips at once.
  • Problem solving with quick decision-making.
  • Team coordination with operations, customer service, workshop, and billing.
  • Professional behavior with drivers and customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Intermediate / Graduate (Preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics).
  • 1–3 years of experience in trucking / transport operations preferred.
  • Fresh candidates with strong communication may be considered.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be flexible for rotational shifts (morning/evening/night).
  • Good writing & WhatsApp communication skills.
  • Familiar with load planning for trailers, carriers, flatbeds, containers, and car carriers.
