Location: Sialkot Dry Port
Monthly Salary: Rs 54,000

Job Summary:

The Goods Transport Driver is responsible for transporting commercial cargo between the Sialkot Dry Port and clients’ warehouses, factories, or delivery destinations. The role involves driving heavy trucks, securing cargo, and ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive HTV trucks or cargo trailers loaded with export/import goods
• Ensure proper loading and securing of items to prevent damage during transport
• Follow assigned delivery schedules to local and intercity destinations
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections for roadworthiness (tires, brakes, lights)
• Maintain delivery logs and obtain signatures or proof of delivery
• Ensure compliance with road safety laws and customs clearance protocols (if applicable)
• Report any delays, breakdowns, or incidents to the transport supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid HTV driver’s license
• Minimum 2–3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience
• Familiarity with Sialkot Dry Port operations, Lahore-Islamabad highway, and warehouse zones
• Ability to operate cargo handling equipment (if required)
• Physically fit and capable of long-distance driving
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and punctual
