Pay: Rs35,000.00 – Rs100,000.00 per month

Job Summary:

As a Truck Dispatcher, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the transportation of goods via trucks to ensure timely deliveries. You will liaise between drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to optimize routes, track shipments, and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Dispatching Trucks: Assign trucks and drivers to routes based on factors such as delivery schedules, driver availability, and cargo requirements.

Route Optimization: Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption, transportation costs, and delivery times.

Communication: Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide instructions, updates on delivery schedules, and address any issues or delays.

Tracking Shipments: Utilize tracking systems and software to monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and stakeholders.

Problem Resolution: Address any issues or obstacles encountered during transportation, such as traffic delays, mechanical breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional service throughout the transportation process.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including driver logs, shipment schedules, and billing information.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards governing the transportation industry, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to hours-of-service regulations for drivers.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, warehouse, and customer service, to coordinate and streamline operations for optimal efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in any in any international customer support role .

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients, and team members.

Proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions under pressure.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the transportation operation.
