Long Haul Driver

Location: Rahim Yar Khan (RYK) Industrial Estate
Monthly Salary: Rs 58,000

Job Summary:

The Long Haul Driver will transport industrial goods and cargo across long distances, including inter-provincial routes from Rahim Yar Khan to major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks and ensuring timely delivery over extended trips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive heavy trucks or trailers across Pakistan’s highway network
• Transport large or bulk cargo from RYK Industrial Estate to national delivery points
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, including brake systems, fluids, and cargo securement
• Follow optimized routes and schedules assigned by dispatch
• Keep accurate records of trips, delivery notes, and mileage
• Ensure cargo is loaded properly and tied down securely to prevent shifting
• Maintain communication with fleet managers or transport coordinators
• Observe strict safety, traffic, and rest regulations during long trips

Requirements:

• Valid HTV license (Trailer or Long-Haul endorsement preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of long-distance or intercity driving experience
• Strong familiarity with motorways, GT Road, and national logistics corridors
• Ability to manage long hours, overnight stays, and remote routes
• Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
